Dr. Carroll is originally from Baltimore County. She received a duel bachelor's degree in plant science and viticulture, and enology from Cornell University in 2012 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2016. Her work on box turtle adenoviruses while at the University of Florida is currently in the process of publication. She lives on a farm in Baltimore County with her husband and two boys, along with a menagerie of animals including beef cattle, alpacas, chickens, dogs, and cats. Dr. Carroll's special interests include preventive care, surgery, shelter medicine, and exotic animal medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys growing food, canning and preserving, brewing beer, making wine, and Gator football.
