Dr. Fischer grew up in Newton, Massachusetts and has known from an early age that she has a passion for interacting with animals and improving their health and quality of life. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from Colorado State University in 2005 and her DVM from the Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Dr. Fischer began practicing veterinary medicine at Banfield Pet Hospital in 2009 and is always searching for new and improved methodologies and techniques that will enhance the quality of life for her patients. She lives on a working farm in Greenwood Village, Colorado, and always nearby are her dogs, Otto and Oscar, her parrot, Kelly and her tortoise, Natasha. At the end of her work day, Dr. Fischer often relaxes by taking a trail ride around Greenwood Village's Highline canal area with her horse, Jerry.
