Dr. Setar completed her undergraduate degree at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois before heading to Kansas to receive her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Kansas State University. She is no stranger to Banfield as she was a participant in the student job program for two years. She has a miniature Australian shepherd named Sapphire who she enjoys doing agility training with and would one day like to compete with. She also currently lives with a Shetland sheep dog puppy named Tattoo and a Chihuahua named Diva. Dr. Setar enjoys treating all animals, including pocket pets (especially chinchillas!).
