Dr. Katelyn Painter

Dr. Painter started at Banfield in 2012 as a veterinary assistant and continued working as a veterinary student each summer until she graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and is living her lifelong dream with us at Banfield. Dr. Painter likes to educate her clients on the behavioral aspect of preventive care, especially how early puppy training improves the human/pet bond which allows clients to be much more aware of subtle signs of illness. When not working, Dr. Painter enjoys spending time with her dog, Sydney, and horse, Rocky, as well as hiking and cooking.
