Dr. Edward Dworkin was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended veterinary school at the University of Parma College of Veterinary Medicine in northern Italy, one of the oldest universities in the world, earning his veterinary degree in 1979. After moving to Florida in 1988, Dr. Dworkin acquired more than 27 years of experience in veterinary care, which includes 11 years with Banfield Pet Hospital. In this time, Dr. Dworkin has developed a very strong interest in veterinary dermatology. He volunteers his time by sitting on the board of admissions at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Dworkin has three adult children, and he and his wife share their home with their energetic Bernese Mountain Dog and Labrador Retriever. In his spare time, Dr. Dworkin enjoys working in free-form ceramic art.
