Dr. Schielke has provided caring veterinary medical and surgical support for the past 20 years through biomedical research, primarily at the Washington National Primate Research Center and at a Contract Research Organization working with nonhuman primates, dogs, swine, rabbits and rodents in the support of drug safety and development. She worked in the field of emergency veterinary medicine before joining the Banfield family in 2018 where she is happy to provide compassionate and quality veterinary care for her patients. She is originally from Michigan and graduated from Colorado State University in 1990 where she earned her degree. Dr. Schielke has lived in Washington state since 1993 and has done volunteer work for community outreach programs. In her free time, she enjoys family activities including her son's hockey games, hiking, home improvement projects and cooking, enjoys raising her son and spending time with their Labrador-mix, Whylie, and cat, Boomer.
