Dr. Bonin grew up outside of Houston, TX. She attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2005. She received a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree from LSU in 2009. After graduation, Dr. Bonin worked at a no-kill animal shelter in St. Tammany Parish and in 2010, she moved to Chicago where she started her career with Banfield. She transferred to Banfield in Baton Rouge after her family moved back to the area in 2014. Dr. Bonin loves working for Banfield, especially when she gets to meet new puppies and kittens. Her interests include feline medicine, surgery and preventive care. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, Dustin, and their 2 kids, Andrew and Molly, traveling, cooking, and of course, watching LSU and Michigan sports! Dr. Bonin has 2 cats, Bella and Guacamole, and a dog, Jackson.
