Dr. J. Javier Diaz Torres is originally from Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico where his family still lives. After working as a volunteer at a veterinary clinic during his last year of college, he started his veterinary career as a veterinary assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2012. He obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2018. He has a pit bull/terrier mix named Ciba who participated in a research study about mites in dogs. He has particular interests in clinical and anatomical pathology, and preventive care.
